Recycling centers in Kuala Lumpur

While recycling is very common in Europe, it’s not that popular yet in many other places in the world. It’s good to recycle, because it reduces waste piles and besides; things you do not like anymore could still be of value to others right?
For example, within the expat community area’s there the Damansara recycling center:
  • Recycling Center at Damansara Jaya, PJ
  • open: every Sunday for 2 hours, 10am – 12 pm
  • location: Jln. SS22/47, Damansara Jaya (behind school)
Below a link to all recycle centers in Kuala Lumpur:

More benefits about recycle??????

From my last post, I shared to all of u abut many advantages of recycle things. But now, there are more benefits from recycle..check this out!!!

Background
If you’re not already recycling, find out more about how easy it is and how you can really make a difference. For those who already recycle, discover the positive effect your recycling efforts are making and find out what else you may be able to do.

Recycling Conserves Resources
When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw material from the Earth, through mining and forestry. Recycling helps conserve important raw materials and protects natural habitats for the future.

Recycling helps protect the environment
Recycling reduces the need for extracting (mining, quarrying and logging), refining and processing raw materials all of which create substantial air and water pollution. As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change.

Recycling saves energy
Using recycled materials in the manufacturing process uses considerably less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials – even when comparing all associated costs including transport etc.
Plus there are extra energy savings because more energy is required to extract, refine, transport and process raw materials ready for industry compared with providing industry-ready materials.

Recycle gives us BENEFIT
Each 20 cases of recycled paper saves 17 trees, 390 gallons of oil, 7000 gallons of water, and 4100 kwh of energy. It also eliminates 60 pounds of air-polluting emissions and saves 8 cubic feet of landfill space. That's a BIG benefit to receive for changing to a product that is as good (or better) than the product you use now!

Recycling can make you earn money
Recycle also can make money by designing, creating or transforming the recycle item become new things that more unique and valuable.  From this, we can make business and save the Mother Nature.

So,here,we can see a lot of advantages from recycling ativities.
it's not a lie.
start recycle today,dude!!
